Hi, I'm Michael Saunders and I founded Group Personal Training to educate and train women on how to create the body they truly desire.

The number of frustrated women completely fed up with starting a new diet fad, or exercise programme and then stopping is constantly growing. I decided to look into the reasons why this was happening.

It became very clear early on to me, that the right information on how to eat and train correctly is not easily available and that there is a lot of confusing information out there.

I studied Sports science at Brighton University, I am a qualified level 3 Personal Trainer, Kettlebell Instructor, Tennis Coach and Shallow Water Swimming Instructor.

 

I gathered information from lots of different women and 1-2-1 clients on the options available to them and the reasons why they would stop or not even start a programme:

Running – Minimal results / boredom / safety

Gym – Intimidating / boredom / lack of results / unsure how to use equipment

Fitness classes – minimal results / lack of variety / boredom

1 to 1 Personal Training – Too expensive

Outdoor bootcamps – mixed groups / too military / too cold/wet/dark/windy

Swimming – boredom / lack of results

It became very clear when looking through the responses above, that if everyone was able to pay for personal training they would. The reasons for this being that personal training sessions are very varied, with nutritional guidance given and will push you more towards achieving your goals (if they are a good PT ) faster.

It became clear to me that I could integrate all the elements of a personal training session into a small group setting, keep the price per person down and overcome the main reason why people shy away from personal training – cost.

When people are made accountable to someone else, it is astonishing what results people can achieve, not just with their exercise and fitness goals but in daily life.

Group Personal Training is a smart program that gives all the benefits of 1 to 1 training, by providing the actual workouts in a small group setting but the cost is significantly lowered.

There is lots of equipment just for women to use, which includes boxing bags, weights, kettlebells, squat rack, benches….. a good range on offer to provide great fat burning workouts.
